There are a variety of methods for reaching and cleaning tall structures and Snug’s understands them all from extensive experience. Our team has washed almost every high rise in Portland and many large buildings such as The Moda Center (formerly The Rose Garden Arena), and the University of Portland Chiles Center. Our experienced crew can handle the most difficult high access and rope access. Snug’s works with owners and managers to determine the safest and most economical method for high access. We are well trained and in where required, we are certified, for high access.
Rope Access: (also known as Boatswains Chair) – used for accessing very tall structures like high rise buildings, towers and stadiums. Snugs High Access Technicians are all trained and certified. Ropes and sometimes anchoring equipment are deployed from the roof top and technicians hang of the face of the buildings to complete tasks.
Swing Stage: used predominantly on tall buildings and highrise (over 5 stories). A Swing Stage is a platform suspended by cables and or ropes from the top of the building. It is raised and lowered to the work area, and provides a platform for one or more technicians.
High Lift: High lifts come in many shapes and sizes from the diminutive Single Vertical Man Lift and the Vertical Scissor Lift to the very large 120’ Boom lift. For high access up to 120 feet, lifts are the best method for safe and efficient access.
